Recently had the pleasure of Rudy and Margaret’s company from Kilmore up in the country

Margaret is a retired headmaster and Rudy works in the city in his own business. Another lovely couple enjoying their relaxing day out with us on their exclusive Private Yarra Valley Winery Tour experience

What a wonderful Christmas gift idea given to Rudy a lover of red wine.

Rudy and Margaret decided to enjoy their Private Yarra Valley Winery Tour in the autumn season when the leaves are displaying a rainbow of seasonal colours of brilliant red, fire orange and golden yellow.   Aligning the paths to visit some wineries are canopies of overhanging branches bursting with autumn colours this is the perfect day out for these garden lovers and Yarra Valley certainly put on a stunning show.

Stop and take in all that’s on offer great food, French champagne, bold reds and crisp whites, VIP chocolate tastings and VIP ice creamery tastings from the world class chocolatier’s, an exclusive experience not to be missed.

On this occasion Rudy and Margaret visited 6 wineries on their Private Yarra Valley Winery Tour with

Our VIP guests visited the French champagne house Moët & Chandon and experienced a selection of 4 glasses of sparkling champagne and premium quality wines whilst overlooking the manicured garden, star garden and box hedges with lush green lawn and vineyards as far as the eye can see.

This tour included a very special stop at the Coombe Yarra Valley where Australia’s Prima Dona Dame Nellie Melba’s private residence stands along with historical memorabilia from this world famous Opera Soprano Singer in the 1800’s. Both Rudy and Margaret enjoyed the heritage and of course the wines from the cellar door.

Lunch was at Rochford where they enjoyed the seasonal dishes and then onto Yarra Valley Dairy for some cheese tastings and finishing up at Yeering Station to shop for local produce, jams, nougat, and chutney amongst other delights. A most joyous day had by all.
